Aust - Toranafest 2011

Toranafest is organised by the Hunter Valley Torana Club, and this year saw 276 Toranas displayed at Newcastle Foreshore.
The theme of this year's event was 'Myths & Legends' and they asked to have the Monza present.

The event is now very much a weekend activity, with formalities commencing with the Saturday afternoon cruise, which saw 92 Toranas participate.


Sunday was the big day, & we had fantastic weather.

I enjoyed the opportunity to have a chat with James Brock.


Borrowed a hatch-hutch to see how close a fit it was.








As with any good day out, cars weren't the only eye candy!!


It was nice to be able to go back to the motel after the event for a few quiet drinks & a feed & head back home on Monday.
