Aust - Muscle Car Masters

Postby 014 Phil » 09 Sep 2011, 23:18

Muscle Car Masters is the biggest historic touring car event on the NSW calendar, and was held last weekend.

Awesome day of great cars, catching up with people, plus some other distractions. :P

A couple of beautiful Brocks in the Club Car Corral.

It was great to see STP & Jagparts sharing a garage again.

Not everyone had a happy weekend.

You have some great car events over there, Phil. Thanks for the photos. Interesting to see the Senator there too!

Great pics Phil. I love HDT cars.
Really good news to hear that JR own the Group C race in the A9X.

Whats the story with the Senator? Ive got an Opel eurosport poster at home with that car on it.

But it is the real race car, not a rep:

"Opel Senator built by Opel Motorsports using a VK Commodore from HDT. The car was built by the late Tony Fall for the 1986 French Super Production and the car was driven by the legendary Guy Frequelin."

Sure, and I guess that is why someone will pay that much for a car like this, and for the car's history.

It's been for sale for a LONG time, so I don't think anyone is going to pay that price.
