is that Cavalier in NZ? cant be many of them in the country if it is, I used to have one of those in the 80's was a very well built car but handled like a boat on the high seas...

Yes, those will be part of Ashley's fleet of Vauxhalls in Nelson!

My wife had a Cavalier hatchback in UK before we left, but I thought it drove ok. Maybe yours spent too much time cornering on two wheels, Derek?

good to know that there is at least one of those in NZ, they are good cars, I liked my one when I had it but maybe I was expecting the bread and butter family saloon of the day to handle like a race car...

would be good to see more of that cavalier on here or any others that might be in NZ.

Ours only had a 1600 engine, so I knew it was not going to be a race car! Was good and dependable though. My wife just prefers a vertical back end to her cars now for reversing, so having had a V6 Odyssey, I managed to talk her into the Zafira and fitted a reversing mirror as well. The newer Zafira is looking nice too.

and the OPC version with a turbocharged 240bhp engine

but I might have to save a bit longer for the latest version

outstanding collection!
yeah decent shocks would transform the white car, I also had a Mk1 Astra around the same time, both cars were a click up on the Ford offerings at the time.
