Highest spec wagon is SL in VC, SL/X in VH, & Berlina in VK (if the same designations were used in NZ).

This VK wagon looks like it has great potential for further improvements ... but not at that price. Does that seem expensive to you guys? What is VK 1/2 - an official revised spec, or just seller's way of saying the car has been upgraded?

Neville i think it was a small face lift part way through its cycle,i had a vk1/2 commodore Royale1985 and im sorry too say it was a shocking thing as far as fuel consumption went, went well and was comfortable, but too many niggly things kept going wrong,so 6mths was long enough

Thanks Lindsay. I guess the V8 wouldn't be too economical either.... ..... so maybe I'll just have to put this particular project on hold until I get the others finished!

Good idea Neville,i think a v8 would have been more economical,it took$345 for petrol too Wyndam and back, and petrol was a lot cheaper then.wyndam is inland a bit from Matarua or down south a bit

There was an SLX wagon which was one model down from the SLE in the VH.

You'd have to build one up if you wanted it, I have seen it done, it looks nice.

There was no series 2 in VB, VC, VH, VK or VL anthough people keep referring to it. There were minor running changes during the model runs though.
