Had a great day on Sunday at the abovementioned event, which is organised by the Council of Motoring Clubs, and open to all affiliate clubs.

I went with the XU1 club.

I'm not ahuge fan of the S Series Valiant, but there was just something appealing about this one :P

Same owner of the VC & Chev. Photos don't do justice to the '57 - it was a knock-out.

With approximately 1800 cars, there was something for everyone.

8) Lovely range of cars there. You have some excellent events over in Oz!

Is that the Monza that you sold in order to buy the Royale? Irmscher wheels too?
Did you catch up with the owner of the GT, or does that belong to Cees? I know he has or had an orange GT.

The car I sold was also a Royale. That Monza was for sale for some time, & I think changed hands a couple of times. The same person owns the Royale, Cav & GT. He knew Ces, but it wasn't his GT. There was also supposed to be a Manta there, but it didn't show.

Ah yes, I remember now that it was on ebay for a while, and the seller was suggesting it could be another V8 conversion like the Brock!

Good to see that it went to an enthusiast - another potential members!

That's the one Neville. Email sent to the owners with a link to this forum. Also asked if they know anything about the V8 engined Rekord from last year (I haven't forgotten......!).

Good man! I've emailed the original seller a couple of times, but not heard anything back  Looked pretty hot, eh?
