Sensational Neville - there was some good looking stuff there.

I'd have to say that some of the Kadetts were my favourites. :D Interesting to see the windsplits on some of the Opels (Asconas?). Didn't realise that GM ran then in Europe (now I'm back to thinking about them on my Royale  ). I'd also love to get a set of the wide Royale style wheels than many of the Mantas seemed to be running.
Cheers

Crikey, yes, the windsplits were a key design element on the Ascona 400 - more so than the Manta, if I recall correctly, and are greatly sought after by those building rally replicas.... along with the Opel logo interiors!

I definitely have a great big soft spot for Opel Ascona B's, especially in 400 guise. Such a great looking car and it appears as though they had/have the goods to back it up.

Nice set of pictures there Nev. I don't know if it worked for other but for me the slideshow would stop every 10 or so pictures, so after staring at the same picture for 20 seconds I'd finally figure out it stopped...

I'm pretty keen on them myself, Brad! Would have loved to bring over my Ascona B to NZ, but it was too badly rusted to make it worthwhile - would have needed major welding to get it complianced!
