I saw a tidy black (/dark blue) Omega 3000 24V today in Hamilton parked near McDonalds in Te Rapa. It was just like my old one but had a red pin stripe down the side 8)

Not too recent, but I came across an Omega A wagon last year near Raumati/Paraparaumu just north of Wellington.... pretty rare over here, and nicer looking than the equivalent VN Commodore wagon in my opinion.

Also went to see this last year, near Christchurch. An early ('70) Opel Commodore A saloon with a 2.5litre engine, the same shape as the Rekord C currently on TradeMe with the 1900cc engine. The owner doesn't really know anything about the car.... but he wants "a lot of money" for it  , so it is still for sale

Sadly, more "ex" Oplels.
Green '91 Calibra being wrecked in KeriKeri - I'm getting the ngine, trans, etc from that.
White '91 Calibra being wrecked in Avondale (ish) and hopefully getting some A/C and interior parts from that
? Calibra v6 getting wrecked in Wellington. I'd like the 5 stud struts and rear hubs but $$$s are severely lacking!

That white Calibra was a Hawkes Bay car that was crashed. The front panels were taken off to see if it could be repaired but it was game over and was sold to the current owner who is parting it out.

It was just a wing, bonnnet and headlight - really just the headlight that was the problem. If it hadn't been de-registered the chap would have put it back on the road, as I understood him. Pity.

It had taken a hit at speed. I recall being told about by the owners father who used to own it before his son.

Yesterday I spotted a Isuzu Gemini Coupe (Opel Kadett C) driving through Napier. It was powered by a Supercharged V8!

Spotted 'OPL2NV' on the northern motorway again.
I've seen this car up close at a WOF station and it started life as a Vectra GT 8v. Then the owner replaced the tired 20SEH motor with a lower millage C20NE, painted the whole block metallic blue, fitted some 'dead end' bonnet vents and one of those funny bannana shaped up turned exhaust tips.
