A Vauxhall badge suggests a UK import, which I know people are still doing with near new cars, it's just a bit odd that one of them would select an Insignia (usually something like a late model, well spec'd BMW of some variety is chosen for resale value).

Not so strange when as a new immigrant you can bring your car over and not have to pay any GST or import taxes. If you like the car you have in UK, and happy to keep for at least a couple of years here, then why not? :wink:

On Saturday at the BMW NZ Festival of Motor racing I spotted a chap wearing a DTV cap. Anyone from here?

Nope, I went yesterday though, was a great day out, despite the crap weather.

Among all of the people wearing various BMW apparel my fiancee said to me that we need to get some sweet Opel jackets 8)

Happy to consider, Brad - but are members actually going to want to buy them? Just looking to update the logo at present, so will consider how it would reproduce if embroidered onto jacket or cap....

Might work, but yeah I imagine you may have some trouble moving them and it is a relatively big investment.

Personally I'd just look at something garish and out there like these;

Maybe the bottom one without the huge Opel on the front/back, but the OpelForum logo on front left breast and the Opel Motorsport logo on the back?
