Went along to this over the weekend as I scored a weekend pass....

Great pics Nev. Especially like the Brock XU-1 replica.

I'd much prefer to go to classic/historic races than the current touring car stuff.

Hm, yes, I thought you would like that one, Phil They lost the bonnet during one of the races before I got back there on the Sunday, and drove the next race without it, but it was retrieved and able to be refitted.

The team is based in Christchurch, and the team manager has promised to contact me to arrange a visit to their workshops sometime - will be a good opportunity for a club meeting! He was also keen to see what photos I had taken.

The guy with the DTM Omega A is also based in Chch and I've finally tracked him down. The car is still stored away in a container, and he is still working on building a "museum/showroom" for his collection of cars, so that should be a future venue for a meeting.

Workshop visits are a great club outing. I've got a very special one coming up next month with the Brock club.
