Hmm, sounds like July 4th in Dunedin would be a good one for the Opel Forum as we have a few people down there now! Will try to get the Rekord back on the road for then.

The Commodore project is still on ice until I can have a really good look over and under it before compliance and certification....

Do you have any contact details for Dunedin, or should I speak to Cliff Trainor?

I've spoken to Cliff and he's still waiting for details himself. I'll have to try and contact the organisers sooner rather than later as the event is indoors so space will probably be limited to those clubs who have attended previously.

Are the Dunedin members even interested in attending? If you are, I'm happy to try and get the space. Will attend myself, 95% certain!

4th July, so will be cold even inside..... you'll probably need your thermals.....

I've been underwhelmed by responses so far, so have emailed all Dunedin members for a response. The invitation is of course open to all members who may be interested in attending. . . but I need to know please

I'm still waiting to hear about space... but will cancel that if no-one fancies going anyway!

Having contacted some members directly, it sounds as if we may have a club attendance! .....

I've got space for 4-6 cars been allocated, and the red/white/blue theme is not compulsory so that's a relief. Can people confirm if they are able to come asap? Would need to be in position on the Friday 3rd by 8pm ideally, but there is an option for Saturday early before 8am otherwise....

Let me know please.

I'll take you up on that, Ken, please.

Lindsay is down from Nelson with his Monza, I'll have the Rekord, and then it's whatever else I can rustle up locally.

Ryan was talking about coming along with one of his Monzas, and Graeme with a Calibra, so we might make it up to 5.... not heard back from Megan.

Show went pretty well, with a good range of cars present.

I took lots, but will have to wait until next weekend as I left my camera in the Monza when it broke down in Dunedin
Alternator died on me, so managed to arrange a lift home, and had to leave the keys in the hands of a local AA recovery guy for repair locally and will now have to go back down next weekend to collect!

Away this week in Christchurch, the opposite direction.
