Just heard back from Stewart Collection and they are prepared to show us around, meeting there about 10.30am - but there is a $10 fee per person.

Seems quite reasonable to me, but may not suit everyone. Can all those who expressed an interest, and and any extra who are happy to go, with an entrance fee please confirm on here asap? Would also be appreciated if members could turn up in their club cars just to show we are a genuine car club

We can still go on to Ruapuna afterwards.

Great day out. Well worth the visit and nice to catch up with/meet some of our other members.

A good morning was had by all. Had about 10 people there. John Stewart himself came along to meet us which was very much appreciated since it was apparently his birthday!

Some pics of some of his cars - only about half of the collection of 300+ cars was on show! My pic files are too large, so taking a long time to load











































Member Alan F helps the curator to try to get this wreck working from a fuel tank on the front seat! We're told it was driven in there, and it did try to start, but was not successful at the time!
