Trip to Melbourne car events

Postby 001 Neville » 29 Oct 2013, 21:51

As I mentioned, just got back from Melbourne and took the time to escape to check out a car collection (LinFox) with about thirty cars on display, plus there was an auto classic car event so I felt obliged to nip along for a look 8) .... however, not an Opel in sight :(

Here was the closest I could find to an Opel - a Lotus!

As you can see, there was some top cars there! I ran out of room on the camera, so had to be selective on what I took, and focussed on the more modern metal from 1950s onward.

Was $30 to get in, but well worth it for the chance to look around for a day - I had just two hours ;-)

Would have liked the trip to be longer, but with the weather so changeable, it was difficult to plan what to do. Maybe a trip to Sydney next time - although Rosie says the Gold Coast will be warmer
