Hi Paul, I'm hoping to be up there for Friday night, so I will be able to get to this fun run for a change. Could you please advise what is involved, and any cost? Not sure what car I'll be in yet, but will confirm nearer the time.

All details and the entry form for the fun run are listed here: http://www.concours.org.nz/funrun.html

I've done the run the last few years - there are several start locations, and the finish point is in a park in St Heliers - so you get a free car show included. Some great cars take part - many that don't display in the concours event.

I haven't decided which Run i'll do yet - the routes haven't changed for a couple of years, so I may choose to do something other than the Papakura run. I usually do the run in my Mini as well.

It is easier if you have a navigator - otherwise follow another car!

It is a $5 donation to take part. I suggest anyone wanting to enter the event fills in the form online.

Just got an update email ... Tickets for those exhibiting will be sent out to each club by the end of the week, so I will confirm details as soon as I have them.
We are located in the exact same location again .. though we have another neighbour - the Vauxhall Club - so now three clubs together - Opel Forum, Vauxhall and Driver Team Vauxhall.
It is looking like the biggest display of Opel/Vauxhalls that I've ever seen at Ellerslie!

A reminder - NEXT SUNDAY (the 9th). I will email a meeting place shortly to those attending, but it will most likely be Wendy's on Great South Road - same as last year.

We have listed attendees as follows:

Paul G
Darren
Dirk
Chad
Neville
Adrian
Carl
Sudheer
Jan H

Anyone I've missed?

Okay, first pics of Ellerslie. Feel free to post up others if you have any. Weather turned out great!

Thanks again to Chad for the use of the gazebo - even if it was a challenge to those of us who were trying to help him put it up! Thanks also to Paul for organising attendance. Here's to next year!

Here are some more pictures that I took - including a few more of the club cars. Thanks to everyone who made it a great display again!

Thanks
