Postby 014 Phil » 13 Oct 2012, 01:19

Last weekend was huge, with 'XU-1s on the Mountain' run in conjunction with the Bathurst 1000. The saw 139 Toranas from all parts of the country to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Peter Brock's first Bathurst win at the wheel of an XU-1 Torana. And an inexperienced co-driver puts a leading contender out of the race.

This was an awesome weekend seeing enthusiasts & cars not usually seen, plus catching up with friends. Furthest distance driven in an XU-1 was 4500 kms. That was going to be a long trip back home...

Tribute cars were invited to attend, and there was probably six or so non-genuine cars.
