Here is a summary of interest so far - it is a really good response!

I've sent a message to the event committee about extra cars, so we need to wait to hear back from them. I'm hoping they'll let us squeeze an extra four or five cars on our display.

Interested in displaying ...

Paul G – Astra H VXR Turbo
Chad - Vectra A
Steve B – Astra H SRi Turbo
Darren – Kadett
Dirk – Manta Coupe
Derek – Astra G SRi
Adrian – Monza
Carl - Manta

Maybe ...

Brad – Vectra Race Car
Neville - Monza GSE

Neville has ordered a new 'Opel Forum' banner ready for the show season, and we'll arrange some flyers to give out to prospective new members.

Does anyone have a gazebo that we can use for the display?

Paul

That sounds handy, Steve!

Maybe someone with a bigger car or roofrack could call past to collect it from you to take to the show, and drop it back afterwards? What colour is it?

Sounds great, if you're happy to allow us the use of it, Chad?

Just don't drive into it or set it on fire and we'll be OK.

Some good news - I have heard back from one of the committee who organise the event, it looks like Opel Forum will be allocated space for 10 vehicles.

That's very good news, Paul, as it sounds like we might have that number already!

Can you pencil me in as provisionally attending? I would expect to bring the Monza - but may end up flying if my schedule doesn't allow the time to drive.

I've got a new Club 3 metre banner being produced, and trying to justify some of those blade flags too, but will have to see how the funds go...

If Chad is still ok to lend us the marquee then that will certainly make things easier for what needs to be purchased/transported north.

Are there any number restrictions on the Galaxy of Cars event which is a couple of weekends later?

I have the details for Galaxy of Cars from the organisers. I will start up another thread for this. It looks like we simply say how many cars we would like.
