Probably would be earlyish Friday evening, but I'll need to confirm that - Saturday is the dyno' day and i may wander over for that 8)

Oh, seems I may be sorted, Brad, but thanks anyway - and I may yet take up the offer.

Heh, been ages since that lot has done a dyno day. Always some amusing banter back and forth at those meets.
I wouldn't bother putting the Vectra on rollers, I havn't changed a thing since it's dyno tune so theres nothing for me to validate really. If I have the time on saturday and it's not pouring with rain I may swing by for a look though. The entartinment value is worth it.

What time friday evening would suit you to drop in, Chad?
I've chucked the pressure guage and balancer in the car, if you want to check the car.

No worries 8)
The drop off I was going to work in with the pick up has been cancelled - he picked the engine up this afternoon (and I had the wrong area, anyway).

Looks like I have brought another Vectra 2000, it was the blue one from turners. A lot less k's than my white one, 175k vs 280k. Not sure what ill do with it yet. May have to have an Opel car sale very soon. Need to decide on what ones to keep.

Ha, I was watching the auction online and wondered if you were bidding :)

We're going to have to organise a local meeting soon so you have somewhere to bring all these Opels you are collecting!

Did you guys seen my thread for this in the for sale (trademe) section? I posted it in there, but it doesn't come up as a new post when I visit the forum, and has had minimal views??

I saw it there as a new post, and went to check out the Turners auction. Since you posted the thread, Brad, it would not show up as a new post for you, Brad, but should have for Jason. Hmmm :?

Defiantly a lot better than my high km white vectra. Someone has looked after it and at least done some maintenance on it.
New brake rotors and O2 sensor which is a good start. It does need some new shocks though.

Tidies up quite nicely! That looks really great. Any pictures of the rust you mentioned in the sunroof?

Looks like the rear muffler has been removed/replaced, so possibly a new exhaust is on it?
