I think it's a guy who came to inspect it and was very happy with it - a real good guy. He's South African and has always wanted a Calibra but could never quite find/afford one at the right time, so is over the moon to have stumbled across this one (not too many tidy redtops around). I'll be happy if it goes to him, even for such a cheap price.168 Derek S wrote:looks like its going to sell this time round, good luck with that will be interesting to see where the price ends up
Agreed. Pretty happy with what it went for in the end, but went to a new bidder and not someone who has looked at it, so hopefully they're happy when they come to get it. The guys that looked at it were good buggers and I'd have been happy for one of them to get it. Have referred them on to here anyway and hope they'll manage to get into an Opel soon!168 Derek S wrote:looks like your on a winner now mate.

a sale is a sale in my book, buy it unseen and its still yours, no backing out in my book
Not yet. We arranged for Wednesday, then get an email over the weekend saying Monday at 5pm, so go with that. After no sign of him for nearly 2 hours I get sick of waiting and give him a call and it's now back to Wednesday without letting me know (truth be told I was happily cutting my Vectra up in the shed, but a call, text or email never goes astray when expecting someone).168 Derek S wrote:did the calibra get picked up and paid for?
