I'm interested in buying another car. Prefer an Opel/Holden or vauxhall and only real requirements are it must be a manual and in good condition plus road worthy as I have too many projects for another one.

Oh if anyone wants a VE series 2 SSV Holden ute I have one for sale too.

Thanks very much for the offer Alan but I'm not really after a diesel car sorry. It's probably a sensible choice for an everyday car but I'm far from a sensible man. I'm interested in something a bit sporty and a spirited drive.

Sounds interesting. Do you have any details about it like year,condition and colour etc. In hindsight I should have brought matts old white one.

1986 Opel Monza GSE, 5 speed manual genuine 86500 miles. Carnelian Red

NZ new 2 owners, Sound no rust body, regularly serviced. All fuel lines & pump just replaced.

Sound mechanically. Located in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay.

Just getting some pics to load, and a price!

Its in the Classic car mag $7900.if interested,looks too be quite tidy,yes need better photos,etc.

This white one is in Huntly, and I remember going to see it about 8-10 years ago when I first was looking for a Monza. It was actually a french vanilla colour, more like cream unless it has been resprayed. Even though the seller knew I was flying up with family, he failed to tell me it was not WOFable and had not been on the road for about 10 years before that! :

I flew up expecting to drive it back, and there were all sorts of issues with the car back then. From what I know, it hasn't been on the road since? No mention of WOF or rego on the advert. There were electrical problems too. We managed to go for a drive down back roads at the time, but my wife was NOT pleased when we had to get a hire car to travel home instead! The guy is dreaming. I think he wanted that money back then!

Steer well clear of that car is my advice.

Still waiting to hear from seller - hopefully he won't see the advert for the other one!

Yes digital dash kph-mph, odo in miles I would consider $4000 ono, rego & wof to be negotiated. cheers, Garry
