94 Opel omega a 3000 24v auto,regretfully needing to sell as at the moment it's been in dorment for over a year. It's a shame it's been left but would rather see it go to a loving home before she starts going downhill and forgotten about.

It's in good condition, paint is good, few tiny scratches from cats climbing over it but no clearcoat peel or major scratches nor dents. Sony CD player and speakers. Heated half leather seats. Both front and back are heated seats. Cruise control. Abs. All tow point covers. Uni den alarm system.


I have replaced all motor gaskets.
New timming chain guides and tensioner including the curved one which is very very very hard to find.
Uprated timming chain
Head was skimmed and all valve guides etc replaced and reseated.
Cats removed.
Motor oil,gearbox oil and diff oil all replaced.
New spark plugs

Only issue is currently needs a new ignition barrel as previous one the. Input shaft snapped. I replaced with a spare but the spare ignition proved to be a faulty secondhand one . Just never enough time to re sort and fix her. Was a excellent previous runner and daily driver before ignition faullt.

Just make me a offer as I would rather see it go to a good home rather than sell it to some clown on trade me.

You're selling with the 24v engine now? I thought Matt was having that?

Yes 24v motor is with the car. And yes still have 12v omega 3000 parts car also

Is the 12V Omega a NZ new manual?

It's an auto, and I'm sure it was an import, Nik, but Mike will be able to confirm

The 12v omega 3000 is a auto and has was kept within a family up north. The father brought it from a car dealers for 30something grand and loved and looked after it. Then he gave it to his son he ran it into the ground and to a beyond repair estate:(. Then we brought it as a de regged, barley running. .


Forgot to note but the 24v omega, the one for sale, the rego is on hold.

You may have tried this, Mike, but would the ignition barrel from the 12v spare car replace the duff one on the 24v car?

Yea I tryed the one out of the spares car and it was a dud. I have now replaced the ignition with a new one so she's back running again. I'll put it through a w.o.f when I get back and put her on trademe.

Good to hear it's all sorted - so you surely want to hold on to it now?

Have you made much progress on the gold Monza? It was looking very sad when I last saw it outside your parents place.

Well I havnt seen this in awhile. Currently it's still in storage awaiting some tlc. Once the omega is gone I'll bring it home and start repairing it.
