Opel Omega B Parts

Hi there guys.
Can anyone tell me how accessible parts are for a 2001 Opel Omega B.
The car has an intermittent code 75 fault (low torque voltage) which only allows manual gearchange and wont select 4th gear.
I need to know if I can still get parts for the auto transmission - possibly the control module.
The heater bypass valve also leaks some water and I think this may be upsetting the electrical connections of the silver box - on the side of the transmission.
If I know where I can get parts I can get the local Holden dealership to look at the car.
Hope you can help
Cheers John

John some of those transmissions could be used in other cars maybe BMW :?: etc pay to see what make and model it is, probably asin ar35, anything i need for my Omega, if BNT cant supply,i go to ebay or through drive Vauxhall in the uk its not ideal, just Holden are not that interested unless its a holden. The heater valve could be common too ,there is some on trademe for Astras and Saabs etc could be the same :?:

There's a Christchurch member, 080 Peter, selling Omega B parts on Trademe. You could PM him to ask what he still has? Worth a try

Hi, The heater valve according to my records is part number 90566947, they are about $ 180+gst from Holden last time i checked or $ 55 + postage on trade me or about $ 25 - 40 on eBay UK. Transmission ECU I have a secondhand one sitting at home it cost about $100 from the UK it made no difference when it was put in to this car still same fault. I understand the 2.5 v6 have AR25 Transmission, the 3.0 v6 is AR35 I think?.

If you ask the right people you can get Holden to get you parts (not terrible cheap or timely service, pays to have friends in the UK for Omegas parts are easier to source), I first asked at Blackwells in Chch they blatantly lied to me presumably because they just couldn't be bothered. Haven't tried the dealership in Ashburton before from what I've heard doesn't sound promising.. I dealt with Giltrap Motors in Auckland it was a few years ago but at the time I was taking with Murray Penwarden (don't know if he's still about mpenwarden@giltrapmotors.co.nz) and he was willing to chase it up through HSPO.

$110 and month later I managed to get a new radiator hose ex-Germany (it is a bit odd-ball as are many other bits and pieces on the Omega)

Hi Pete. Thanks for your help and comments. I have recently sold the Omega so I won't be pursuing any parts, etc.
Thanks again though.
