FS: Opel Calibra / Vectra 2000 Parts - Hamilton

I have for sale various parts. The more common ones I have advertised on trademe, but obviously I would prefer a sale to any of the good blokes off here, so let me know if you want something I list, or even if I don't ask a question because I might have it stashed away!

Opel Calibra
All in silver
LHS front guard
LHS door
RHS door
Rear hatch
Front and rear bumpers (a bit shabby)
Front and rear door cards (good condition but a few lose threads in places)

Opel Vectra 2000
Sunroof complete
Inner roof lining in grey (sunroof)
Front and rear seats

Opel Vectra GL
Inner roof lining in grey (non-sunroof)

I also have various mechanical and other bits for sale, but I may hang on to most of this until I confirm my plans for the 2000.

They're all pretty stuffed sorry Gordo. I don't think I'd pulled a decent one out yet!

I should mention, the Calibra stuff will probably be dumped/scrapped if it's not gone in the next couple of weeks, so obviously will be cheap.

I don't have a 2000 one, but I do have a standard GLS one. I can't confirm they are the same, but I would think so.

Does anyone want things like steering wheels? I'm going to have 2 spare 2000 ones and 1 non air bag GLS one.

Do you have a spear Opel badge for the bonnet of the 2000, also are the 2000 steering wheels in good condition? Are the 2000 wheels the same as my 2000 GSI one? Mine has done 289000 km's so its a bit worn out. Also may need a heater core as mine has been disconnected so thinking it may be leaking.
The brakes shudder under use as well. Picking the rotors are warped.

I should have a badge, but how bad condition is your one? Mine are quite poor from what I remember, so would only be worth it if yours is completely missing or you want to refurb it.

You say your car is a 2000 GSi. Does it actually have GSi written on it somewhere, as I didn't know there was a GSi model of this car. I thought that was the name for the Vauxhall version?

Maybe chuck up a picture of the steering wheel and I'll grab some of mine. I have a couple from cars closer to the 200k mark, so they should be tidier than yours.

I'm still using my heater core at the moment, but no doubt it will be coming out soon, as it is a race car. I'm just going to see how it goes over the winter and see how much I'll miss having it. Never thought I'd say that, but this build is a compromised one this time around.

I have heaps of rotors, but it would probably be worth getting some new ones to ensure they're perfect?

Sorry Brad you are right it's not a GSI, it's an Opel vectra 2000 16v. I'm slowly getting it running better now as brougt some new plug leads and it has stopped the miss fire. It still does surge a bit under acceleration and is hard to start. You need to pump the throttle like on an old carbed car to get it to keep running on the start cycle then once it is started it idles fine. I feel it is not putting out its full power either. Will do some more investigation today.
My bonnet badge is completely missing and you can see the screw driver scratch marks on the bonnet where someone has nicked it. Do you know if you can buy new ones?

Brad, or anyone else, have you got one of the clips that hold the inner end of the visor in place?
I had a bit od work done on the Calibra and the 'beater snapped it off.

Should be the same, ta, it's just the little clip that stops it flapping around loose.
I may be able to come down the next weekend, or two, and if you want to set the bodies and fuel pressure at the same time?
