same car as Peter brock used to rally

Did Brocky use one to rally? Wouldn't have been a 5 door, I'm sure.

All NZ new Kadett GSI's are 8V's. Early ones were 1.8's, later ones were 2.0's.

has not got too much going for it other than its manual..

shame its an 8V but still a decent engine and being manual it will romp along ok.

the death nail is the two extra rear doors...no thanks

My mum had one exactly like this from new.
It was an awesome wee car, definitely left a lasting impression. We did a few family trips in it and it was not half bad on the open road with that torquey motor.

I have no issues at all with the 4 doors, why is it such an issue for you Derek? Not keen on the looks?

I think with a DOHC head and the wing removed it would make a pretty convincing sleeper 8)

to me there are some cars that look better 3 door or 2 door, this would be one of them.

I'd agreee with that. 4 door just screams Pontiac Lemans, where as 3 door is more like 1989 BTCC winner.
