As already ibdicated by the headline, I am currently looking for those foldable Side Mirrors from Opel Omega A!
Condition of them does not really matter as long as they are in one piece and not appart...

Would also appriciate if someone could provide me with some information where to get them!? Some sources, links, addresses?

I have been sending Manta stuff back to the UK via the UK Manta owners club. Got a bit of a network going now, guys from the club send me stuff from the UK now as well

I've heard of a spares Omega down south that has the folding mirrors. Not sure of the condition at this stage but will let you know once I've got more details. Just wanted to let you know the mirrors do come up from time to time ...... if you haven't already found some?

these are omega's being broken regularly, if you find what your after let me know and I can buy on your behalf and forward as long as you cover the costs, not hard at all, you just need to keep looking at the site

I was checking out an Omega A down south for spares, Dimitri, for you and someone else who wanted a bonnet. The car is not complete and will cost too much to retrieve, so will have to leave it at this time

........ however I was speaking to Mike in Christchurch and he said he has an Omega A to break

..... and he has the wing mirrors too. I'm almost certain they were the folding type. You can send him a message direct by clicking on the Members button and finding 017 Michael.

Sorry Dimitri, I was aware that I hadn't got back to you, but the Omega I was speaking about has been sold elsewhere, as I was particularly focussing on an Opel Senator the seller also had.

It is taking so long to get an agreement sorted, since the seller might not have had full ownership and I've been waiting to hear if it could be proven.

Essentially the guy I know who owned the cars had got fed up with them and got a friend to take the cars to his place. His friend is the one now trying to sell them, and I'm trying to clarify if the original owner still has legal ownership as I don't want to be caught in a legal battle if he decides to retrieve them.

Will keep looking for other Omegas being broken in the meantime, since apparently this Omega has now been sold on - legally or not!

Yes, unfortunately you arte right about Mike. Surprsingly i do not really know what happaned in the end and he stopped the contact after I ve asked him about the bank details or paypall account...
(till then i got already the pics, and some uncomplete bank data..he had my postal adress and planed to send them since he even made up a price for shipment by that time)

Well after a couple of unanswered emails in the end i gave it up, too.
If you have a chance to contact him...I am still curious what went wrong

However there are 2 things:

1 they have only parts which were available for german market - hence they have not the same as i am looking foor (those i am interested in are like from Calibra)
2 i need the part number of exactly the mirrors i want and not the german version

- it is a comparable situation with the indicators;
On the german market are only orange indicators available,
however those from holden statesman are available in white too and are the same. Moreover - they are even produced by a german supplyier HELLA - and are still not sold in germany.
Through classic parts there is also no way to get them...only reimport
